Hi, my name is Matthew Hanley. I am from Buffalo New York. I came down to Florida Gulf Coast University because i was sick of the snow and need a change in my life. I have one brother. He is older than me and he is curretly a junior at clarkson. I went to St. Francis Prep. Its an all guy school. Its not as bad as it sounds. You get used to the fact that there are no girls. Plus there is an all girl school down the street. In high school I played hockey and soccer. In ice hockey I played goalie and won a state championship three times. I played roller hockey also where I won nationals. At nationals I was awarded the honor of top goalie at nationals. It was probably the proudest moment of my life. Partly because it meant I was the best goalie at the tourney or the fact that I got free stuff with the award. ( free wheels) In high school I had a 3.52 GPA. My favorite food is tacos. I love long walks on the beach and singing in the shower. My favorite color is green. I don’t drink pop. I currently don’t have a roommate because he “got home sick” after two days and left. If anyone was wondering I live 22 hours away from this school. He only live 3 hours away. I am Irish, German, and Polish. At Florida Gulf Coast university I am a business major. I am thinking about going in to management or into marketing. I am currently staying is Biscayne. On the 5th floor, this sucks because I am too impatient to wait for the elevator so I always walk up the stairs. This pretty much sums up who I am and what I enjoy doing.
